I know I am supposed to tell HIS Story; I want to tell HIS Story; HIS Story is almost ready; the lawsuit my sister and brother-in-law filed is still pending in the legal court system so HIS Story cannot yet be told; and I feel like a runner crouched in position at the starting line waiting for the pistol to signal—GO!
I thought I was done with HIS Story and we were in a frustrating holding pattern, but I thought wrong. When am I ever going to learn? After taking a several month break from working on HIS Story, a friend of mine began to read the blog. In going back to read some of the entries, I realized the initials I used to protect people's identity were very distracting. So, I've once again started over from the beginning, this time to edit out all initials and insert descriptive names instead. I've also decided to remove the private details of my sister and brother-in-law's lives, their behaviors, actions and the lawsuit they filed. The ugly details are not what is important. HIS Story is not about them—HIS Story is about our journey while following HIS footpath and how the amazing Hand of God protected us from them.
While it took me seven years to read, write, and then transcribe my journal entries into this blog, I still have editing to do. God is in control and His timing is perfect. He has a plan and when the time is right—HIS Story will be told. There will come a day when we hear the words, "You are free to go." Until that day comes we will wait patiently for the—GO!
This is HIS Story. It is ALL about HIM. Blessed be HIS name.
