When you are Following the Master's Lead there are times He stops you and puts you in a paused position. That is what has happened. I'm still reading the Bible, but I haven't added any new journal entries. Instead, I've been reading my entries I've already added into Blogger, and I've been editing and adding new labels. While it has been enjoyable, I'm anxious to get going again. But, for reasons unbeknownst to me, I have literally been stuck in a paused mode.
We've been extremely busy moving my husband's parents to an assisted living facility and cleaning out their home, but that isn't why I am paused. Sometimes God says "wait," so that is what I am doing. God used a cloud to let the Israelites know when it was time to move and when it was time to stay. When it stood still—they stayed; when it moved—they moved. Well, there hasn't been an actual cloud, but it was clear that I was to pause and now it is clear that the paused time is over and it is time for me to move again.
Now that it is time to once again start Walking on His Footpath, I wonder what lies ahead. What is God wanting to show me and teach me now?
