Revelation 10:1–11

August 06, 2013

Then John saw a powerful angel come down from heaven. He held a small scroll in his hand. He stood with his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. He shouted like a roaring lion and the voices of seven thunders began to speak.

John began to write down what he heard when a voice from heaven interrupted him and said, "Keep hidden what the seven thunders said, and do not write them down." Then the angel raised his right hand to heaven and he made a promise by the power of the One who lives forever and and ever; the One who made the skies and all that is in it; the One who made the earth and all that is in it; and the One who made the seas and all that is in it.

The angel promised: "There will be no more waiting!"

7th Trumpet—When the angel is ready to blow this last and final trumpet—it will be finished. God's secret of His Good News will be realized and Jesus will return for the final battle on earth and then eternal heaven will begin.

We have a choice. We are either:
  • Entering through the small gate or the wide gate (Matthew 7:13–14)
  • Traveling the narrow road or the wide road (Matthew 7:13–14)
  • Building on the rock or sand (Matthew 7:24–27)
  • Wise or foolish (Matthew 25:2)
  • Prepared or unprepared (Matthew 24:45–51)
  • Fruitful or fruitless (Matthew 25:14–27)
  • Heaven called or hell bound (Mark 16:15–16)
