Acts 12:1–25

November 29, 2012

Songs running through my mind in the middle of the night:

All the Way My Savior Leads Me

All the way my Savior leads me,
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Hea'vnly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate'er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know whate'er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the Living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Oh, the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised,
In my Father's house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

Listen to it here.

Jesus Paid It All

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

There is one more.  I think I could start a Hymnal!  :)

I Love the Lord

From Psalm 116

I love the Lord for he heard my voice
He heard my cry for mercy
Because He turned his ear to me
I will call on him as long as I live.

I love you Lord for you heard my voice,
You heard my cry for mercy
Because you turned your ear to me
I will call on you as long as I live.

Lord you are gracious,
Lord you are righteous
Lord you are full of compassion
Lord you protect the simple-hearted
When I was in great need
You saved me.

Be at rest, O my soul
For the Lord has been good to you
Be at rest, O my soul
For the Lord has been good to you.

For you O Lord have rescued my soul from death
My eyes from tears
My feet from stumbling
That I may walk before you
In the land of the living.

I love you Lord for you heard my voice
You heard my cry for mercy
Because you turned your ear to me
I will call on you as long as I live.
