I've written many teachings for you but you think they are strange and don't apply to you. I've sent you prophets, but you think them a fool. I've sent you spiritual people, but you think them crazy. You think I don't know or don't remember.
Hosea 9:7 - "You have sinned very much, and your hatred is great."
Hosea 8:13 - "He remembers the evil they have done, and he will punish them for their sins.
Hosea 9:9 - "The LORD will remember the evil things they have done, and he will punish their sins."
Hosea 9:15 - "Because of the sinful things they have done, I will force them to leave my land."
Addendum: 9/20/15 ~ Oh, the contrast between the blessings you receive when you are obedient to the LORD ("Pour goodness on you like water") and the consequences you receive when you refuse to surrender to the LORD ("So my punishment will pour over you like a flood of water... I will be like a lion. I will attack them. I will drag them off."). I know which side of the equation I want to be on!! I want the LORD's blessings in my life. I choose total submission to HIS will.

"Israel is like a large vine that produced plenty of fruit. As the people became richer, they built more altars for idols. As their land became better, they put up better stone pillars to honor gods. Their heart was false, and now they must pay for their guilt. The LORD will breakdown their altars; he will destroy their holy stone pillars... They make many false promises and agreements which they don't keep. So people sue each other in court; they are like poisonous weeds growing in a plowed field." Hosea 10:1-4Hosea 10:10 - "When I am ready, I will come to punish them." Oh, how God wanted them to change. He sent prophets. He sought them. He pursued them. He told them, "Plant goodness, harvest the fruit of loyalty, plow the new ground of knowledge. Look for the LORD until he comes and pours goodness on you like water." (Hosea 10:12) God so wanted them to do their part so He could do His part—shower them with blessings and "pour goodness on you like water."
