Paul wasn't afraid to stand up and confront the issues. Paul was given the work of preaching to the Gentiles and Peter was given the job of preaching to the Jews. When Paul saw Peter responding to a situation that did not follow the truth of the Gospel he confronted him about it. He didn't talk to others, he went directly to Peter. The truth is this: "... a person is made right with God not by following the law, but by trusting in Jesus Christ." (Galatians 2:15) It is the only way. Being a good, moral, upright person doesn't cut it. The rich young ruler was that. He followed all the commandments that dealt with how to relate to fellow man (5–10), but he wasn't willing to surrender ALL to God and follow the commandments (1–4) that deal with our relationship with God.
When we accept Christ we are to—surrender ALL.
I surrender ALL. When you want me to speak I will speak boldly. When you want me to listen I will listen. May my life bring honor and glory to Your name. Amen.

"I was put to death on the cross with Christ, and I do not live anymore—it is Christ who lives in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself to save me." Galatians 2:20LORD,
I surrender ALL. When you want me to speak I will speak boldly. When you want me to listen I will listen. May my life bring honor and glory to Your name. Amen.
