I Corinthians 8:2 - "If you think you know something you do not yet know anything as you should." It's not about us! It is ALL about Him. I've always said it this way—you don't know what you don't know. It's not about our abilities that we can use for Him. It is about being available for Him to use us! I Corinthians 9:16–17 - really spoke to me. It clearly articulates my feelings. "Telling the Good News does not give me any reason for bragging. Telling the Good News is my duty—something I must do. And how terrible for me if I do not tell the Good News. If I preach because it is my choice, I have a reward. But if I preach and it is not my choice to do so, I am only doing the duty that was given to me." And then, the "reward" is the Lord's, and all honor and glory is HIS.
Jane's story—the story about God's faithfulness during these last six years. I haven't written much about what I know God is asking me to do lately, but that isn't because I no longer believe I am supposed to write or tell His story. Quite the contrary. It is not my choice—it is my duty. On my own I would have no desire to write, but it is not my story—it is His—and I have no right to refuse to tell it. It is my duty. So, LORD, I am available. I will accept my duty. I will wait for your guidance and direction. When you are ready, we will start. It will be "we," your words and my pencil. This isn't a path I would have chosen, but I accept the path and will walk in it. And I will give you my best.

relationship. It isn't because of our knowledge and our abilities that He should be glad we are on His team. It is because He is our Savior that we should be willing to give up all, follow Him, and be available for whatever position and role HE wants us to play in furthering HIS kingdom and to bring honor and glory to HIM. It isn't what we know, it is being KNOWN by Him.
It's not about us, it is about Him."If you think you know something, you do not yet know anything as you should. But if any person loves God, that person is known by God... for there is only one God—our Father. All things come from him, and we live for him And there is only one Lord—Jesus Christ. All things were made through him, and we also were made through him." I Corinthians 8:2–6
