Psalm 75:1 – 76:12 (Continued)

April 12, 2011

God is the Judge—AND—God always wins.

   - God is the one who sets the time for trial
   - God judges fairly
   - God says to the proud—don't brag
   - God says to the wicked—don't try to use your power against heaven. Don't be stubborn.
   - God says no one else can judge you
   - God is the judge
   - God will decide who drinks His cup of anger
   - God stands up to judge and save the needy
   - People praise you for your anger against evil
   - Those who live through your anger are stopped from doing more evil

Psalm 75:1 - "God we thank you; we thank you because you are near. We tell about the miracles you do. 9 I will tell about this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob. 10 He will take all power away from the wicked, but the power of good people will grow."

Today is my Dad's 90th birthday. We took my Mom and Dad to breakfast this morning at a local restaurant. Dad prayed... and I lost it, the tears began to flow. Oh, how I love to hear him pray. That is what I will miss most when his days on this earth are ended. I am so grateful, so grateful for the godly heritage Dad has passed down to the future generations.

Addendum:  7/1/16 ~ Less than a month later Dad went to his eternal home. How grateful I am that we got to spend so much time with him during the end of his days on this earth.
