God continues His instructions and continues to tell the Israelites, "I am the LORD."
A man cursed God. The people obviously knew that was wrong but I love what they did next. Leviticus 24:12 - "...they waited for the LORD's command to be made clear to them." Then in Leviticus 24:23 - "...the people of Israel did as the LORD commanded."
That is one of the most important things we have learned and continue to learn. WAIT—wait on the LORD. Make sure you know what God wants you to do. Then—DO! Do what God has revealed for you to do. No matter how hard. DO!
