Nature—the work of God's Hands. It is absolutely beautiful outside. On Monday it snowed six plus inches of snow. Today is Thursday and the trees are still covered with several inches of snow with more snow expected tonight. Psalm 147:16 - "He spreads the snow like wool..." Psalm 19 talks about how nature tells of the glory of God. The heavens and skies declare the work of His hand. Then it goes on to tell about God's Word.
"The teachings of the LORD are perfect;
they give new strength.
The rules of the LORD can be trusted;
they make plain (simple) people wise.
The orders of the LORD are right;
they make people happy.
The commands of the LORD are pure;
they light up the way.
Respect (fear) for the LORD is good;
it will last forever.
The judgments (ordinances) of the LORD are true;
they are completely right.
They are worth more than gold, even the purest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even the finest honey. By them your servant is warned. Keeping them brings great reward." People (on their own) cannot see their own mistakes. This is why God gave the laws in the Old Testament; His written Word; and Jesus and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.
Psalm 19:14 - "May the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer."
Because of all God has given us: His Works; His Word; His Son—there can be no excuse. God's laws obeyed—bring harmony and fulfillment. God's laws disobeyed—bring discord and disorder.
