In the name of God we will:
Proverbs 21:31 - "You can get the horses ready for battle, but it is the LORD who gives victory."
Psalm 21 - The power of God. I love the "you gave(s)" of the Bible. It is all about you God. God's "I will" statements, the same as if they were written in stone. Decided. Done. Psalm 21:11–13 - "...their traps won't work. You will make them turn their backs when you aim your arrows at them. Be exalted, O LORD, in your strength; we will sing and praise your greatness."
Psalm 22 is a description of persecution and Christ's crucifixion. Matthew 27:46 - "My God, why have you forsaken me?" He knows what it feels like to be persecuted. The mockers make fun of Him (and those who choose to believe and follow Him). Psalm 22:6–8 - They make fun of him, laugh at him, belittle him, saying, "Turn to the LORD for help. Maybe he will save you. If he likes you maybe he will rescue you."
Psalm 22 describes being surrounded by evil people (roaring lions). Psalm 22:21 - "Rescue me from the mouth of the lions." Jane's (Her Name Was Jane) hand written Cross References: I Timothy 4:17 and II Thessalonians 3:3. What Satan/man intends for harm God uses for good.
Psalm 22:24 - "He does not ignore those in trouble. He doesn't hide from them but listens when they call out to him."
Psalm 22:26 - "...those who look to the LORD will praise him."
Every knee will one day bow. Psalm 22:29 - "Everyone will bow down to him, all who will one day die." The question is—when? The choice is ours. We either willingly surrender to His authority and experience His salvation and blessings—OR—we are forced to acknowledge He is God when it is too late to receive His blessings. I choose to surrender.
