Psalm 9:4 - "You have heard my complaints; you sat on your throne and judged by what was right."
Psalm 9:9–10 - "The LORD defends those who suffer; he defends them in times of trouble. Those who know the LORD trust him, because he will not leave those who come to him."
Psalm 9:16 - "The LORD has made himself known by his fair decisions; the wicked get trapped by what they do."
All throughout Scripture there is a recurring theme: what you try to do to others is what happens to you. The Psalmist talks repeatedly about those who set traps for others (lying in wait like a lion) and being caught by the traps they set. Scripture talks about that person being proud, with no room for God in their thoughts (Psalm 10:4); trusting in their own abilities (Psalm 10:9–11). Psalm 10:14–15 - LORD...you see; look at them... do something... break their power... punish them.
Jane (Her Name Was Jane) has written in her NIV for Psalm 10:17 – 1)You hear; 2) You encourage; 3) You listen. Jane's KJV - They that know thy name...Trust! (Psalm 9:10)
From the Life Lesson ~
"God is never deaf to his children's cries for help."
Addendum: 1/6/15 ~ Psalm 9:1 - "I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart. I will tell all the miracles you have done."
Next Entry: Psalm 11:1 – 13:6

"It (suffering) produces perseverance, or steadiness, by slowing me down, by forcing me to turn to God, by proving to me that I can survive a crisis..." ~ From Where Is God When It Hurts by Philip Yancey."Whenever you face a trial, pray for God's help. Pray that God will be glorified in the situation. And thank him for the care he shows."
