Psalm 103

May 02, 2011

"Bless the LORD all my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name." Psalm 103 is an entire Psalm of praise to the God of all gods.

8 "The LORD does what is right and fair for all who are wronged by others."
11 "As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is his love for those who respect him."
17 "But the LORD's love for those who respect him continues forever and ever, and his goodness continues to their grandchildren."

Verse 3 - He forgives
Verse 3 - He heals
Verse 4 - He saves
Verse 5 - He satisfies
Verse 13 - He has mercy
Verse 17 - He loves

Cautions about forgetting God:

Deuteronomy 4:9 - "But be careful! Watch out and don't forget the things you have seen. Don't forget them as long as you live, but teach them to your children and grandchildren."
Deuteronomy 6:10-12 - "...but be careful!  Do not forget the LORD..."

We will remember, we will not forget! We will tell about ALL God has done to our children and grandchildren.

Verse 2 (KJV) - "Bless the LORD, all my soul, and forget not his benefits."

Addendum: 3/2/15 ~ My husband's widowed sister-in-law is completely moved and the sale of her home closed today. Done. Finished. Over. Lord, thank you for providing a buyer. Thank you for providing a safe and comfortable place for her and her daughter to live. Thank you Lord, for releasing us from some of the responsibilities we have had for the last four years. But at the same time Lord, I also want to thank you for the opportunity to serve and assist them. It was exhausting, but it was the right thing to do. "Wait...trust...do good." Lord, I ask that you would bless her and her daughter. Bless her indeed.
