Much of Isaiah is about prophecy and I most definitely am not a prophecy scholar. I don't pretend to know much of anything about the complicated (to me) writings about future happenings. I can only write about what I understand Isaiah to be saying and not about any hidden meanings.
Isaiah talks about a new king that is coming. This new king (Jesus) will have the Spirit of the LORD; the Spirit of Wisdom; the Spirit of Understanding; the Spirit of Guidance; the Spirit of Power; the Spirit of Knowledge; and the Spirit of Respect. Isaiah 11:3–4 - "He will not judge by the way things look or decide by what he hears. But he will judge the poor honestly; he will be fair in his decisions for the poor. At his command evil people will be punished..." There will come a time when peace comes to the earth and to His people.
Isaiah 12 - "I praise you, LORD!... God is the one who saves me; I will trust him and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD gives me strength and makes me sing. He has saved me... Praise the LORD and worship him. Tell everyone what he has done and how great he is. Sing praise to the LORD, because he has done great things. Let all the world know what he has done. Shout and sing for joy you people of Jerusalem, because the Holy One of Israel does great things before your eyes."
I praise. I trust. I sing. I worship. I tell. I sing praise. I testify. BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE!
