"I, the LORD, called you to do right, and I will hold your hand and protect you."
"I am the LORD. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another; I will not let idols take the praise that should be mine." If God is anything, HE is fair and just. Psalm 48:11 - "(His) decisions are fair." If fear tries to come, TAKE HOLD of God's promises! He is fair! He is just! He will hold you! He will protect you! He will not let evil take His glory and praise! His decisions are fair!
Isaiah 42:9 - "The things I said would happen HAVE happened, and now I tell you about new things. Before those new things happen, I tell you about them." LORD, we claim the promises you have given to us. We will not forget them. (Her Name Was Jane) And with the promise (Psalm 140) comes the praise (Psalm 150; Psalm 8).
Isaiah devotes the next three verses to "A Song of Praise to the LORD."
Sing a new song to the LORD!
Sing his praise everywhere on earth!
Praise him!
Praise him!
Praise him!
Praise him!
Sing for joy!
Shout!
Give glory!
Praise him!
The LORD says, "For a long time I have said nothing; I have been quiet and held myself back. But now I will cry out." I will destroy, and I will lead and guide.
You who are deaf—listen! Hear me!
You who are blind—look and see!
You have seen much, but you have not obeyed. You hear, but you refuse to listen! God goes to great lengths to get our attention. But some refuse to listen and refuse to obey. For those who listen and obey, God promises to be with them.
Isaiah 43:1–3 - "Don't be afraid, because I have saved you. I have called you by name, and you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you cross rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flames hurt you. This is because I, the LORD, am your God."
On 3/31/08, Mom called and told me to read Isaiah 43:1–3. She had just read those verses during her morning devotions and felt they were a promise from God to her, for us. God has been faithful. He has walked with us through the waters. We have not drowned. We have not been burned; and the flames have not hurt us. Isaiah 43:5 - "Don't be afraid, because I am with you."
Then God says He is going to useHis people as a witness. Those who have refused to obey, who have eyes but don't see, and ears but don't hear, bring your witnesses. Prove you are right. God will bring His witnesses so that ALL will know HE is the one true God.

"There was no God before me, and there will be no God after me. I myself am the LORD; I am the only Savior. I myself have spoken to you, saved you, and told you these things... You are my witnesses, and I am God, I have always been God. No one can save people from my power; when I do something, no one can change it... I will send armies for you. I will knock down (the) locked gates." Isaiah 43:10–14
