It is early morning. The sun has not yet risen. I've been lying awake praying. So, instead of just lying in bed, I decided to get up and read, write, and pray. Psalm 139:23 - "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." You already know everything about me LORD. If I have blind spots, please shine your light of truth and expose them, and I will repent quickly.
Repent quickly. Oh what danger there is in not repenting quickly. I want to know if I have any blind spots. I want to live in God's light and truth.
Isaiah 22:1 – 23:18 - God's message to Jerusalem. Why are you trying to do things yourself without coming to me? You did not trust me. You did not respect me. (Isaiah 22:11) So I (the LORD) say this to you. Repent! Be sorry for what you have done. But instead you are going on with your life as if there is no tomorrow, eating, drinking, and pleasing yourself. (Isaiah 22:12-14)
I (the LORD) am the One in control. I will decide what is right and wrong. I will decide who leads and who doesn't. You who think you are in control:
God removed Shebna from being the manager of the palace because of his actions. All he worked hard to acquire and do for himself was given to Eliakim. God knows the heart. God knows the motives. No scheme of man can manipulate God's will. Repent. Like our Pastor says, "Repent well... repent quickly."

- What are you doing?
- Who said you could cut out a tomb for yourself?
- Why are you doing this?
- Why are you carving a tomb from the rock?
