My notes from a message I heard on Faith.
1) Believe it
2) Act on it
3) No matter how you feel
4) God always has good planned for you
It's not faith in your faith. It is faith in God. The God of the Bible is the God of today. The same yesterday, today, and forever. The Bible is either true—or it isn't. God is either God—or He isn't. We either believe—or we don't. It really is that black and white. We are given the choice. Believe—and receive God's blessings OR refuse to believe—and choose suffering.
I Peter 1:18–19 - "You know that in the past you were living in a worthless way, a way passed down from the people who lived before you. But you were saved from that useless life. You were bought, not with something that ruins like gold or silver, but with the precious blood of Christ, who was like a pure and perfect lamb."
Why choose to trust in things that are temporary? Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It cannot be head knowledge only! Our actions must match our words.
